Olive Villa Crete

We had a truly fantastic 10 nights staying here. Panagiotis, Olga & Miltos were incredibly hospitable and were always on hand to answer any questions or give recommendations. The private pool and outdoor BBQ area is even better in person and the apartment is clean, cosy and perfect for a couple or small family. The area is also walking distance to some great tavernas, a supermarket and bakery. In summary, would highly recommended!

What can I say?! We had a 5-star stay at Olive Villa. The Kalliani Family were utterly charming, hospitable, and friendly. We were warmly welcomed by Panagiotis, who was very flexible with our arrival times and showed us our space clearly. We were also welcomed with homemade olive oil, Riki, and home-grown tomatoes. All of which were absolutely delicious. Pangiotis and his wife, Olga, were incredibly respectful of our privacy and popped round once to clean the pool and water the plants in the beautiful garden. They even kindly provided us with fresh linens midweek. The villa was perfectly equipped with everything we needed, particularly for cooking on nights in. We ate every meal outside in the gorgeous outdoor kitchen, which was idyllic in the warm Cretan air. The pool was a particular highlight, and was the perfect temperature to cool off! Thank you, Kalliani Family, for an incredible stay. We hope to visit again very soon!

Que dire de plus que l'ensemble des avis précédents ... C'est un endroit MAGNIFIQUE !!! Nous avons passé une semaine à contempler chaque détail du jardin et de la cuisine extérieure (tout est fait avec beaucoup de goût) La piscine privative est parfaite (eau propre et à bonne température) Nous avons passé notre temps dehors mais le logement est également parfait (literie, salle de bain, cuisine équipée... à noter qu'il n'y a pas de micro-ondes)... Allez-y, vous ne serez pas déçu.

A lovely week in Crete. The family were very welcoming from the first minute until the last. They were very quick to respond to any question I had about regarding the apartment and the local area. The standout is the pool, a lovely big pool with sunbeds to chill in during the day. If you’re staying here then I would definitely recommend hiring a car as it’s a long walk to any shop. However, if you’re looking for an authentic Crete experience then I would definitely recommend staying in this apartment.

Le logement de Panagiotis est parfait pour passer des vacances paisibles. La piscine dont nous avons l'exclusivité est au milieu d'un jardin joliment arboré et fleuri avec goût. Le linge ( draps et serviettes) sont changés tous les 3 jours. C'est très propre. Panagiotis et son épouse Olga sont de gentilles et belles personnes. Je reviendrai avec plaisir!

What a beautiful gem. Peaceful relaxation by the pool with a wonderful garden. Apartment was very clean and easy to live in. Comfy bed too! Panagiotis was very friendly and helpful. Responded quickly when needed but otherwise left us in peace to enjoy this lovely home. Would recommend having a car.

Wir hatten einen unfassbar tollen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist richtig schön, privat und bietet alles was man braucht. In der Gegend gibt es viel zu sehen und gleichzeitig kann man gut und gerne viel Zeit in der Unterkunft verbringen, da sie mit dem Pool, der Außenküche inkl. Grill usw. sehr viel bietet und gemütlich ist. Panagiotis und Olga waren tolle Gastgeber. Sie waren ausgesprochen nett, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen vielen Dank

Appartement is klein maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Handdoeken, badhanddoeken shampoo en douchespul. Tuin, zwembad en buitenruimte geweldig. Ligbedden, parasol en tafels + stoelen. Lopen naar supermarkt en tavernen prima te doen (15 minuten). The Leaky Cauldron is een aanrader!

The Kalliani family made us feel very welcome in this lovely home and backyard. When not exploring the surrounding beaches and towns, we spent time relaxing in the well-looked after and very clean pool, and the shady BBQ area, surrounded by the beautiful garden. It felt private and peaceful throughout our stay. It was useful to be able to leave our hire car by the villa, and it is walking distance to a few tavernas and village shops. A well equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable living space, and air-conditioning made for a lovely apartment. We would certainly stay here again, especially as the location in central Crete allowed us to explore different parts of the island on day trips easily.

Wie hatten eine sehr angenehme Zeit bei Familie Kalliani. Trotz unserer Ankunft mitten in der Nacht hat uns Panagiotis herzlich empfangen und uns schnell das Wichtigste erklärt. Die Anlage ist wunderbar gepflegt - die Privatnutzung des Pools rundet das Gefühl Zuhause zu sein ab. Unsere Privatsphäre wurde durchgehend respektiert, dennoch war Panagiotis stets für gute Reiseempfehlungen zu haben. Wenn wir nochmals nach Kreta kommen, dann auch wieder in die Olive Villa Crete :)

Wir haben die Zeit in dem Appartement sehr genossen! Es war sehr sauber, ruhig und der Außenbereich war sehr einladend. Der Gastgeber war sehr herzlichen und immer da, wenn man ihn brauchte. Wir würden diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen und hatten eine super Zeit vor Ort!

On a passé une superbe semaine en Crète dans la magnifique maison de Panagiotis et Olga qui nous ont réservé un magnifique accueil et nous ont prodigué pleins de bons conseils pour notre séjour. Leur villa est un vrai havre de paix : piscine très agréable, joli jardin très bien entretenu, une charmante cuisine d'extérieur avec barbecue, l'intérieur est très soigné. Elle est idéalement située, dans un petit village au calme dans les hauteurs (on y voit la mer!) mais à dix minutes seulement en voiture de splendides plages, délicieux restaurants, supermarchés, etc. Nous avons adoré discuter avec eux et leur fille et de ce fait pratiquer pour mon épouse les quelques mots de grec qu'il lui reste de ses 3 années passées à Athènes quand elle était petite. Famille très touchante, mille mercis encore et nous espérons revenir, avec notre fille cette-fois ! Prenez soin de vous ! Adrien & Gabrielle

De Olive Villa Crete van Panagiotis in Arkada is werkelijk een parel op Kreta. Vanaf het moment van aankomst voel je de warme gastvrijheid van Panagiotis, een ervaren Superhost die al 8 jaar gasten verblijdt met zijn prachtige woning. Het appartement zelf is stijlvol ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort die je maar kunt wensen. Het privézwembad is een absolute highlight: perfect om te ontspannen na een dag vol verkenning van het eiland, met een prachtig uitzicht op de omliggende natuur. De rustige ligging in Arkada zorgt voor optimale privacy en rust, ideaal voor een ontspannen vakantie. Wat deze accommodatie extra bijzonder maakt, is de combinatie van moderne faciliteiten met de authentieke sfeer van Kreta. De keuken is goed uitgerust, waardoor zelf koken een plezier wordt, en de buitenruimte nodigt uit tot lange avonden buiten, genietend van de Kretenzische zonsondergang. De communicatie met Panagiotis verloopt soepel en snel, wat het verblijf nog aangenamer maakt.

Panagiotis, Olga and Miltos (sorry if spelling incorrect) were amazing hosts. The villa was perfect, the pictures do not do it full justice. The garden is stunning and pool area so clean and peaceful. Privacy level was perfect, Panagiotis and Olga were responsive if we had questions. The local restaurants were great, especially the recommended Zorbas. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. The beaches were fabulous. We hired a car so we could do some exploring. We had the best time and would not hesitate to book Panagiotis’s place again if we return to Crete (which we hope to do). If you’re reading the reviews wondering whether to book then I 100% recommend you do as you won’t regret it.

Krásné, čisté a soukromé ubytování. Byli jsme zde ubytování s manželem a synem (20 měsíců), byla pro nás připravena dětská postýlka i židlička. Na přivítanou jsme dostali od hostitele mísu mandarinek, vodu a domácí raki. Dokonce zde byl i odšťavňovač citrusů a Panagiotis nám další den přinesl tašku pomerančů, takže čerstvý džus po ránu byl super! Villa se nachází lehce pod úrovní země, takže je trochu tmavší, ale je tam krásný chládek. Většinu času jsme stejně trávili na překrásné udržované zahradě s venkovní kuchyni, bazénem a terasou. Pro někoho muze být užitečná informace, že wifi venku není příliš stabilní, nám to nevadilo, ale na práci ideální není. Panagiotis i jeho syn nám předali spoustu cenných informací a byli vždy v dosahu, ale respektovali naše soukromí. Úplně jsme si to tu zamilovali a doufáme, že se budeme moct brzy vrátit. Děkujeme!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had a fantastic time and stay at Olive Villa. Panagiotis and Olga are an absolutely delightful couple as well as kind, generous and hard-working hosts. It is clear that they both take great pride in their home and also go out of their way to ensure the accommodation and facilities they provide for their guests are of an extremely high standard. We were hugely impressed by and spent a lot of time relaxing in the beautiful garden (immaculately tended) as well as in the swimming pool (very clean and well-maintained) and dining in the outside bbg area (fantastically set out and equipped). We cannot recommend it highly enough and dearly hope to be able to return in the not too distant future!

Das war die schönste Unterkunft die wir auf Kreta hatten. Ganz besonders die Außenküche, der Pool die Ausstattung die wirklich großartig ist und die perfekte Lage für unsere Wanderungen. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich , zuvorkommend und gaben uns gute Tipps. Wenn wir nochmal nach Kreta kommen, dann auf alle Fälle in dieses unglaublich schöne Anwesen.

Panagiotis e Olga sono stati semplicemente fantastici! L’olive Villa è il posto perfetto per una vacanza tranquilla e rilassante, con tutti i comfort che si possono avere a casa proprio. Gli host sono stati reattivi e simpatici, sempre pronti a darci consigli sui posti da visitare e a offrirci i deliziosi frutti del loro giardino! Wir waren für 2,5 Wochen in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Der Garten ist ein absoluter Traum und sehr privat. Wir konnten ganz in Ruhe entspannen und waren für uns. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen.

Acabamos de estar en este alojamiento y la verdad que venimos encantados. Tanto la ubicación como el propio apartamento con piscina con ambiente privado hacen una estancia tranquila, agradable para disfrutar incluso de un baño nocturno gracias a las luces de la piscina. Esta cerca de un supermarket para comprar todo lo necesario y con alguna taberna para comer o tomar algo. Los anfitriones,desde el principio muy amable, aguantaron para recibirnos,pese a que el vuelo llegó tardísimo. Te obsequian como bienvenida con uvas (buenísimas) y todo preparado para poder disfrutar de una estancia maravillosa. si volviéramos a Creta,repetiríamos sin duda. Gracias por todo.

Twijfel niet om dit verblijf te boeken! Alles is er aanwezig om volop te genieten en ook de omgeving te bezoeken. Prachtige buitenkeuken en je hebt het zwembad en de mooie tuin helemaal voor jou alleen. Alles is er tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Mooie routes door Panagiotis voorgesteld. Nabijgelegen restaurantjes, bakker, supermarktje. Een aanrader!

Just so peaceful and lovely....the pool is warm and inviting, lovely outdoor kitchen area to sit as well and a parasol at pools edge. sun trap, with plants and succulents , swallows and butterflies, and very noisy cicadas!! need a car really , so many things to do and see in Crete, but could walk to next village with supermarket , several lovely tavernas and a pharmacy. Would be a hot walk though!! Panagiotis and Olga are so helpful, and kind , and discreet, you couldn't ask for better !!❤️

It was a great and comfortable stay. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything necessary. It is a good point to discover the surrounding area by car. Hosts are friendly and helpful, check in and check out are easy.

We spent three days in this apartment. We chose it for the outstanding outdoor facilities (the apartment by itself is small but sufficient for a couple) but we were not able to enjoy these outdoor facilities because there was so much mosquitos outside. Beside that everything else was perfect. Very nice host, very quiet location, very comfortable bed. Also since there was no one after us the host let us leave at our convenient which was very appreciated. A good stay

Nous venons de passer 12 belles journées dans le logement d’Olga et Panagiotis, nous avons beaucoup aimé le cadre et la tranquillité, la cuisine extérieure et la piscine sont vraiment le plus très agréables. Nos hôtes étaient à l’écoute, attentionnés tout en étant très discrets. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour dans la villa des oliviers.

Fantastisches AirBnB! Die Unterkunft war wir beschrieben eingerichtet und makellos sauber. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst herzlich und haben uns mit wertvollen Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt. Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt und vor allem den privaten Garten mit Pool sehr genossen. Wir würden dieses AirBnB jedem empfehlen!

Noch nie haben wir eine Unterkunft gehabt, die so blitzsauber war. Die Familie ist sehr nett und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Garten und der Pool sind ein Traum und wir werden wieder kommen!

Bellissima casa, con anche una piscina e un giardino meravigliosi, e l’accoglienza di Panagiotis è stata davvero rara. Assolutamente consigliatissimo!

Heerlijke vakantie gehad. Fijne locatie, prive zwembad was top. Vriendelijke mensen!

Bij het zoeken naar het verblijf hebben we ons ook gebaseerd op de recensies, gezien deze allen positief waren. We kunnen dit alleen bevestigen: Het verblijf is zeer comfortabel Panagiotis en Olga zijn zeer gastvrij. Bij aankomst: fruit, koekjes, water en....Raki. We verbleven er twee weken, echte hotelservice: na 1 week vernieuwen van lakens en handdoeken. We schreven in het gastenboek:" na 45 jaar reizen doorgans Europa behoort dit verblijf tot onze absolute top" Pigi is een aangenaam dorpje ( 5 minuten rijden) met bakker,beenhouwer,en kleine supermarkt, twee restaurants en een bar (bij Vassili) Dagelijks uitstap , met aankomst "thuis" in de late namiddag ,nadien duik in het zwembad en genieten van de mooie tuin ! amazing Apartment. Especially the garden with the large private pool was a highlight. I have never seen an apartment that was this clean. the hosts are both very friendly and accommodating. whenever we had a questionit needed help they were available. we were also close enough tothe beach to get there in a few minutes but also far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. we definitely recommend you stay here!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt bei Panagiotis sehr gefallen. Die Wohnung ist für zwei Personen vollkommen ausreichend und ist gut ausgestattet. Highlight ist der Außenbereich inkl. Küche mit Grill sowie großen Pool, den wir für uns alleine hatten. Die Lage der Wohnung ist gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Zu Fuß ist man in 15 min im Dorf Pigi und hat dort die Möglichkeit, einzukaufen sowie essen zu gehen. Die Tavernen im Umkreis sind wirklich sehr gut und zu empfehlen. In 10 min mit dem Auto ist man direkt am Meer oder in der größeren Stadt Rethymno. Panagiotis hat uns hilfreiche Tipps gegeben zu Ausflugszielen und Essensmöglichkeiten. Außerdem wurden wir bei unserer Ankunft mit leckeren Olivenöl, Gemüse und Früchten aus eigenen Anbau empfangen. Gern empfehlen wir die Unterkunft weiter! Einzig und allein die Mücken waren im September im Garten etwas aufdringlich.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Olga et Panagiotis qui sont des personnes accueillantes et disponibles. Leur jardin et leur cuisine extérieure sont magnifiques. Seuls les moustiques nous ont empêchés d'y passer de longues heures. Qu'il est agréable de nager seul dans cette piscine à toute heure de la journée. Mon seul regret était de ne pas pouvoir voir le jardin de la maison à cause d'une haie devant la fenêtre et de mes 1m63.

Το σπιτι είναι άψογα εξοπλισμένο(κουζίνα,μπάνιο πλυντήριο) πολύ ωραία διακόσμηση, πεντακάθαρο! Το αίθριο πολυ περιποιημένο με ομορφα λουλούδια κ η πισίνα τέλεια για χαλάρωση!

Nous avons beaucoup  aimer notre séjour au calme  au milieu  des  champs  d'oliviers mais à proximité  de toutes les commodités, de grand Rethymnon et de la voie rapide. Nos hôtes, Olga et Panagiotis, nous  ont  accueilli chaleureusement avec  de précieux conseils et nous ont  généreuresement offert  des  productions  de leur jardin. Tout était  parfaitement propre et  entretenu de façon  exemplaire. La belle piscine, la cuisine d'été  avec son barbecue et le jardin  fleuri et verdoyant sont exceptionnels. De son côté, le logement  est confortable  et la cuisine  interieur permet  vraiment  de cuisiner au quotidien pour ceux qui le souhaitent. Nous  avons  fait une grande partie de nos courses à 1 km environ à  l'épicerie, à la boucherie  et à la boulangerie du petit  village de Pigi  où nous  avons  trouvé des produits  locaux et de qualité. Nous  recommandons sans hésiter ce logement aux belles  prestations et qui vous  fera instantanément sentir en vacances.

Es war unser vierter Aufenthalt bei Olga und Panagiotis und es fühlt sich jedes Mal an, als würde man nach Hause kommen. Die Gastfreundschaft ist genauso wie der Garten mit dem tollen Pool atemberaubend!

Nous avons passé une semaine chez Panagiotis et Olga en juillet. L’accueil a été vraiment chaleureux et rempli de bonnes attentions notamment pour nous faire découvrir les produits locaux faits maison ! Si nous avions pu mettre 10 étoiles, nous aurions mis les 10, nous avons rarement eu cette qualité d’accueil couplée avec un tel confort et un espace privatif extérieur exceptionnel ! De plus, le logement est très bien situé pour rayonner dans la région, une voiture nous étant indispensable. Le village à 15 minutes à pied propose une petite épicerie, une boucherie et deux tavernes où l’accueil a aussi été très sympathique. Aucune hésitation, la prestation est complète et nous ne pouvons que la conseiller vivement.

Olga and Panagiotis are very, very lovely people and super hosts. Always very nice, very friendly and very helpful and also respect your privacy. The house with its own garden and pool is really beautiful. There is also an outdoor kitchen were you can take your meal and even have a barbeque. The private garden and pool (just for you during your stay) are really stunning and were perfect for relaxing after our trips. The house is also a good starting point to explore the beautiful area. Nice little taverns and a supermarket are only 15 minute walk or 5 minutes by car away situated in a small and picturesque village. We highly recommend a stay at Olga and Panagiotis. Panagiotis est un hôte vraiment accueillant ! Il nous a offert du raki, de l'huile d'olive ainsi que des abricots, tout ça de son jardin La piscine est au soleil toute la journée, le jardin est magnifique, le logement est agréable, bref tout était parfait ! Le logement est idéalement situé en plein milieu de l'île, les routes principales sont facilement accessibles rapidement Merci encore !

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Der Außenbereich ist der Hammer :-) Wir haben viel Zeit am Pool und im Garten verbracht. Da unser Flug Verspätung hatte sind wir erst sehr spät angekommen, aber das war gar kein Problem. Die Kommunikation über airbnb hat super geklappt und wir wurden herzlich in empfang genommen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in der Unterkunft und können die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

C'est une location très agréable. Le jardin est charmant, la piscine très agréable surtout lors des chaudes journées comme la Crète peut en connaître. Côté cuisine, c'est bien équipée. Les hôtes sont accueillants et réactifs. Nous avons apprécié les petits cadeaux de bienvenue. Nous recommandons chaudement cette location.

Panagiotis and Olga are great people. Their place is well furnishes and located and the setup with the pool is amazing. I highly recommand this place to stay in Crete!! One week would be perfect to visit the main cities and explore the outbacks.

Eine kleine Erholungsinsel, ich empfehle schon ein Auto weil man einfach auf ganz Kreta so mobiler ist. Das Zimmer ist liebevoll eingerichtet und man bekommt einen Snack sowie Hochprozentiges als Gastgeschenk, sehr liebevoll sind die 2 Gastgeber man wird herzlich empfangen, trotz meines Fluges aufgrund dessen ich erst kurz vor Mitternacht angekommen bin wurde ich nett empfangen! Sehr herzig! Dankeschön!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, Panagiotis et Olga sont chaleureux. Ils nous ont donné des infos pour visiter la Crête. L'appartement est agréable et très propre, il ne manque rien . La piscine et le jardin sont bien entretenus. Un séjour vraiment agréable, je conseille vivement cette location.

Un accueil chaleureux, des petites attentions à notre arrivée : un melon, du raisin, de l'huile d'olive du raki. Tout est parfait, il ne manque rien et très propre. C'est une location de rêve. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Un havre de paix à 20 minutes de Rethymnon ou tout nous attend pour nous reposer dans un magnifique jardin. Olga et Panagiotis sont très accueillants et toujours disponible pour nous donner de bons conseils sur la région. Nous conseillons vivement ce logement pour 2 personnes à la campagne. Un emplacement idéal pour beaucoup de visite dans un rayon d’une heure.

Der Außenbereich des Appartments ist wirklich toll und war für uns der Grund diese Unterkunft zu buchen. So konnten wir die letzten Tage unserer kleinen Rundreise wirklich toll entspannen. Man hat einen Pool und eine Außenküche für sich alleine und kann hier wirklich super relaxen. Damit man am Abend aber wirklich Ruhe hat empfehle ich einen Spray gegen Mücken :) Die Wohnung selbst liegt direkt nebenan etwas tiefer gelegen, wodurch es sich auch tagsüber in der Wohnung nicht aufheizt. Die Wohnung ist nicht mehr die neueste, aber sie ist gemütlich eingerichtet und es gibt alles was man so braucht. Die Klimaanlage ist von der Lautstärke in Ordnung und stört kaum. Einzig Kritikpunkt ist, dass das Bett. Die Matratze ist ok und weich. Das Bett selbst knarzt aber relativ laut, wenn man sich bewegt. Für mich war das kein Problem, meine Freundin hat aber einen nicht ganz so festen schlaf. Die Wohnung liegt etwas 15 Minuten von ein paar Tavernen weg. Ich fand die direkt an der Strasse am besten :) Die Familie war sehr nett und legt Wert darauf sich zurück zu halten und lässt einen wirklich entspannen. Ein freundicher Hund kommt gelegentlich mal durch den Garten getapst. Ich würde die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen! Der Außenbereicht ist ziemlich einzigartig und der Preis ist für so viel Platz für sich wirklich in Ordnung :)

We were SO pleased with our stay here. the hosts are all gracious and you truly get the authentic Greek experience. The location is near a small town called Pigi, so it's best to rent a car to get around. We enjoyed the pool and backyard a lot. Everything was clean and comfortable and we wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Panagiotis's place is absolutely beautiful and is a great location just a few minutes drive from Rethymno. We had exclusive access to the garden, pool and BBQ area while we were there and loved spending our evenings in the garden. Panagiotis was very friendly and gave us a tour of the place, and even had some grapes and olive oil from his garden for us. The room was very clean and well decorated and was stocked with lots of plates and cooking utensils. From the house you can get to anywhere on the island quite quickly and there is easy parking on the road outside. Thank you Panagiotis!

Der Aufenthalt war super! Die Wohnung und die Außenanlagen waren nicht nur absolut sauber sondern auch noch richtig schön gestaltet mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir hatten komplett unserer Ruhe, dabei war Panagiotis ein extrem freundlicher Gastgeber. Das Englisch war ein wenig holprig aber wir konnten uns gut verständigen und er konnte stets bei Fragen helfen. Außerdem überrascht er uns mit köstlichen selbstgemachte Leckereien aus dem Garten. Zu erwähnen ist vielleicht, dass ein kleiner, sehr sehr lieber Hund mit auf dem Grundstück lebt (was mich sehr gefreut hat ;)) Auch die Gegend ist nett, ein paar Tavernen sind fussläufig (ca 20 min) zu erreichen und für Ausflüge mit dem Mietwagen ist der Ort ein super Startpunkt in alle Richtungen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen.

Excellent accommodation about 10km Rethymnon and 1km from Pigi, where there was a mini market and several restaurants. Car essential. Panagiotis greeted us warmly and reassuringly wearing a mask and offering us hand sanitizer (sign of the times) and some home made Raki. We were also warmly greeted daily by Flora, the smiling family dod. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

It had been our second stay in the villa of Olga and Panagiotis. Words cannot describe their hospitality and how beautiful their villa is. We had been looking forward to come back for the whole last year and we are happy that nothing had changed till last time because it could not had become better. The apartment and above all the garden with the large pool and the outdoor-kitchen are amazing. It is a little paradise. But the best are Olga and Panagiotis themselves. Because of them we know what the famous Cretan hospitality really means. We can only say thank you for the warm welcome, the great food and olive oil from their own garden, the nice evening, we had together, and how they took care about us. Olga and Panagiotis had done everything to create a great and safe stay for us in Corona-time. It has been one of the best AirBnB-experiences we could made so far. Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft in einem kleinen Dorf in der Nähe von Rethymno. Absolute Ruhelage mit privatem Pool und tollem Holzkohlegrill. Wer Wert auf Privatsphäre legt und so wie wir gerne mit Holzkohle grillt ist hier zu 100% richtig. Auch das Appartement ist mit allem ausgestattet was braucht. Panagiotis und Olga sind tolle Gastgeber uns sehr nett. 100% Empfehlung und 5*. Wir kommen sicher wieder...

The guesthouse of the Family is very very beautiful and super equipped! The Garden is the Highlight with an outside Barbecue and a neat Pool!! The Family is super nice and helps where ever they can! We think about returning to this wonderful Place someday, we had an awesome stay at the Home of Panagiotis!

We had an amazing time with wonderful hosts! The apartment is perfect with great air conditioning and a comfy bed. There is even Netflix option on the tv which is great when you are having a lazy morning. The pool and BBQ area were the highlight, it was lovely to relax in the garden before going in the pool. Panagiotis and his family were very helpful and gave us lots of ideas about what to do during our stay. We would love to return!

It is not easy to find words to describe the flat and Olgas and Panagiotis hospitality. They have created a PARADISE and they share it with you. The whole accomodation is breathtaking. There is a beautiful garden, a large pool and a great outdoor-kitchen with a big BBQ. And that is all only for you! The flat itself is very well equipped, has a well working air-condition and a good kitchen. For sure you will find anything you could need. Besides everything is lovely decorated with selfmade wooden art. The surrounding is a typical village with good taverns and a mini market. You can go there by foot. The next beaches and Rhetymnon-City are easily and fast reached by car. But the great flat is not even the best. The best is the hospitality. You do not feel like a guest, moreover you feel like an old friend. Olga and Panagiotis have done everything to make our trip unforgetable. They gave us fresh fruits and vegetables from their own garden, helped us with everything and were unbelievable nice and communicative. Because of them we know, what the famous Creten hospitality really means. We are very thankfull that we could get Olga and Panagiotis to know and that we could stay in their paradise. It was one of the best AirbnB-experiences we have made so far.

Dear Panagiotis and Olga , We loved our stay in your wonderfull, well decorated house! Our trip started with a warm welcome. You thought about everything ; Olive oil from your tree , water after a long flight ,selfmade raki , herbs , washing products,... . You showed us the wonderfull garden with pool and terace with bbq , witch we feld immidiatly in love with. Every morning you came to clean the pool , worked in the beautifull garden and Flora your dog came to welcome us. You asked every day if everything was ok, and it certainly was! Rethymnon is like 20 minutes drive . At 5 minutes drive you have a local bakery that we would highly recommend for your local breakfast. You told us wich places you provided nearby to see. Difficile de trouver un meilleur accueil que Panagiotis et Olga, ainsi que leur résidence . Ce fut notre première étape en Crète et nous aurions pu y rester tout le séjour : emplacement idéal sur l'île, hôtes adorables et qui nous ont permis d'optimiser le séjour à la perfection, et surtout une propriété conçue pour qu'on s'y sente bien : logement climatisé et bien équipé, petit déjeuner au pied d'un olivier et au bord d'une piscine dans un magnifique jardin. Barbecue, cuisine d'été, cuisine privée dans le logement. Si vous voulez découvrir le meilleur accueil Crétois c'est la bonne adresse.

Βρίσκεται σε μια πολύ καλή τοποθεσία μακριά από την πολύβουη παραλία του Πλατανιά, αλλά ταυτόχρονα πολύ κοντά στην πόλη του Ρεθύμνου (με το αυτοκίνητο 15 λεπτά) και τις γύρω παραλίες και τα άλλα αξιοθέατα. Η πρόσβαση με το αυτοκίνητο είναι πολύ εύκολη και άνετη και γίνεται ευκολότερη χάρη στις οδηγίες του κ. Παναγιώτη. Hebergement très sympathique avec d’excellentes prestations.

Excellent place to spend a quiet holiday in Crete. The house has everything you need, Olga and Panagiotis have really thought about all the details (maps, medicines, towels for the pool and others for the shower, washing machine). Comfortable bed, with wifi, tv and fully equipped kitchen. What we liked most is the garden with the pool, we had a very quiet afternoon enjoying the pool. It also has a beautiful place for barbecue. The place is not far from the beach but it is recommended to rent a car. Thank you very much for these beautiful holidays!!

Maison très calme et reposante, les photos sont conformes. La piscine est à notre entière disposition ainsi que la cuisine d'été, possibilité de faire un barbecue, c'était vraiment top. Dit was onze 1e airbnb locatie. Het is in één woord GEWELDIG te noemen.. Appartement: super netjes en alle faciliteiten aanwezig Tuin en zwembad: geweldig en deze was alleen toegankelijk voor ons. De foto's op airbnb: zoals je ze ziet zo is het ook. En niet onbelangrijk: de rust Met de auto ben je in 10 minuten op het strand en met een 13 minuten parkeer je in Rethymon. Aanrader

Panagiotis gave us a very warm welcome to his home. The pictures don't really do the outside area justice - it's really lovely and felt very private. Unfortunately it rained for 2 of our 4 days there so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked! There's not much in Agios Dimitrios, but we went to a couple of nice restaurants in Maroulas (a 10 minute drive away).

It was a perfect holidays. Everything is clean, the room is perfect Panagiotis was really kind with us and explain us a lot of thing to do and to see . We recommend

Le logement est situé dans un village calme à l abri de l agitation de Rethymnon. Cependant, en 15 minutes de voiture, vous serez en centre ville. Le studio est impeccable et le jardin avec la piscine sont très agréables. Nous recommandons cet endroit avec grand plaisir.

We higly recommend this place. Everything is perfect, clean, quiet, well equiped and the flat is well placed to visit the west of Cretia. The swimming pool and the garden kitchen are really amazing. Panagiotis, Olga and her daughter Chrissa are always available for what we needed. We have appreciated their hospitality and kindness. Many thanks to them for Raki, wine ,advices et espacially for the beautiful diner they offered to us with their friends and family. It permitted to show us the Cretian way of life and to taste to the very good foods of Crete.

Réservez sans hésiter : vous ne le regretterez pas! Appartement très bien équipé dans un havre de paix, avec piscine « privative » et cuisine d’été, loin du tumulte de la ville et de la côte et à seulement quelques kilomètres. Olga et Panagiotis sont charmants et discrets à la fois.

This place was wonderful! In addition to the apartment, there was a beautiful garden with a pool. Kitchen with everything you need, nice bathroom, and good aircondition. Easy parking, and not to far away from the city. Lovely and quiet place! Easy communication, good wifi, clean, and very friendly hosts. I recommend this place!

Panagiotis and Olga are great hosts, we really enjoyed their hospitality! The apartment is a very good starting point to discover the Rhetymnon area, Arkadi and small villages on the countryside. The apartment is equipped with everything you need - also for a longer stay. Everything was perfect.

When I have booked the room, I did not expect that apartment will be so admirable! Warm welcome, local food surprise amazed us! Swimming pool in the garden, BBQ, silence at night and beautiful stars - that is what you will get there as a bonus to clean, well furnished apartment and warm welcome! You will find whatever you want in the kitchen! House is easy to find and only 10-15min by car to the coast. No problems to get there at all. To sum up, I was happy to stay there!

Our stay at the Panagiotis' family was excellent! We seemed to be staying with relatives. We were greeted with pleasant surprises in the form of homemade rakia and other pleasant delicacies))) The apartment has everything you need. Cleanliness at altitude! We liked to have breakfast in the courtyard among olive and orange trees. Family dog ​​Flora was our friend))) We could use the grill place. In the neighboring village there is an excellent shop with cheeses and meat from the local farm, we liked it. Everything you need nearby, especially if you are traveling by car. We visited the beautiful places of the region on the advice of the owners. This must be experienced! Thank Panagiotis, Olga and Chris for communication and hospitality!

Panagiotis and Olga are adorable. We really loved their hospitality, their humour, their english accent ;-) and also their home and their raki :-) It was a real pleasure to share these three days with them and we would really have loved to extend our stay to share other moments with them, talking about everything. Their house is tremendous and really not expensive considering all the embedded options : swiming pool, bikes, barbecue... Our stay in their house was really cool and we loved their dog as well. Panagiotis and Olga know all the good spots to visit in Creta and we simply followed their advice during our three days. Everything was simply perfect !

Everything was splendid. The house is like in the pictures. The location just 20 minutes away from Rethymno. And 10 minutes away from the beach. It is near a pittoresque village called Piges. And a nice traditional restaurant called Hovoli. The land lady was very polite and helpful. I couldn't find the house and I called her 10 times and she still was polite and helpful!! She even offered us grapes from her vines and cucumbers from her garden. She has a dog which barks a lot when someone arrives but she is small and friendly. I didn't mind. Also someone practiced piano (but they mention it in the description) but it was nice so again I didn't mind. I fully recommend it.

La famille Kalliani est vraiment très accueillante et sont aux petits soins avec leurs hôtes ! Nous avons passé 5 jours dans leur logement très propre et fonctionnel. Nous avions en plus la chance de pouvoir utiliser la piscine, le barbecue... Merci encore pour tous les légumes, les raisins et le raki :)

il posto è fantastico e merita le migliori raccomandazioni.la famiglia ci ha coccolato molto bene e abbiamo ricevuto le migliori attenzioni possibili. perfetta anche la sistemazione, pulita e completa di tutto il necessario. il migliore che abbia mai soggiornato. ottima la piscina, insomma da raccomandare e chiaramente se possibile anche ritornarci. grazie ancora.

L'alloggio rispecchia le aspettative ! Ottimo, super gradevole, pulitissimo, con tutto il necessario;L'ospitalità della famiglia è un plus non indiferente! Ci hanno messo a disposizione sia la piscina che delle bici, inoltre loro hanno un piccolo vitigno, Fanno loro il proprio Raki ( che è molto beverino) ci hanno regalato persino dei grappoli d'uva molto buoni!! Panagiotis gave us a very open hearted and personal welcome with housemade Raki.Panagiotis picked up us from Rethymno city to the home. The Apartment was very clean and cozy wiht air conditioner and with the love to details.The Apartment have all necessary things like washing machine, refrigarator, kitchen, plates, wine glasses, hair dryer etc. The Resort has great swimming pool and huge barbeque lounge. We enjoyed our meal and greek wine outside under the beautiful sky in the garden. Panagiotis helped and guided us in every question but we also enjoyed our absolute privacy. Panagiotis describe us how to reach from Chania Airport to Chania City(bus comes every 30 mins to Chania City) and from Chania City to Rethymno city (bus comes every 1 hr).The Apartment is only 15 min walk to nearest bus station. It takes 20 min with Bus to Rethymno City and 8 min to the neareast Beach where there are lot of shops and restuarants.They provided us often with fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden.They have two great mount bicycles. We are very thankful for the whole family that they made our vacation memorable and we strongly recommend this place to stay!
