The website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the pages, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details. The website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking.

The maps on the home and property pages load from Google Maps only when you click “Show map”. Google then receives your IP address and may set cookies; Google's privacy policy applies.

The guest reviews shown here were published by guests on Airbnb and Booking.com. We show the first name, month and text. To have your review removed, write to us.

Contacting us

If you write by email, your message is stored with our email provider Proton. If you use WhatsApp, your message is processed by WhatsApp (Meta). We use what you send only to answer you.

Booking

When you book, we store your name, email address and stay dates to manage your booking. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. Confirmation emails are sent through Resend.

Legal basis and transfers

We process contact and booking data to answer you and carry out your booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), keep booking records as tax law requires (Art. 6(1)(c)), run and secure the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)), and load a map only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Cloudflare, Google, Stripe, Resend and Meta may process data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

Booking data: as long as tax law requires. Messages that do not lead to a booking: only as long as needed to answer them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to rentals@olivevillacrete.com. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
